I am a writer. I write because I must . . . because the yearning rises within me and can’t be choked. So many worlds, so many feelings, so many things that can happen, if only I put them to paper. And so I do. Next thing I know, they become books.
My pen name is Willowy Whisper. I am a twenty-year-old graphic design college student. I live in the quiet, remote hills of West Virginia, nestled between mountains and fields. Beyond writing, I love to play instruments: the piano, the guitar, the ukulele, and the mandolin. I love to sing. I love to walk in the rain. I love to watch black-and-white movies, or listen to old records in my room.
I was saved when I was five years old. There’s not a day that goes by that He doesn’t bless me. His mercies are new every morning. He is so good. He is so big. I love Him so much, and I hope that through this blog, His name will be glorified—because He’s worthy of that.
I have vowed to Jesus that I will stay pure for my husband. I’m waiting on the Lord. I’m waiting on His timing. I’m trusting in Him. Through this blog, I hope that I can encourage other young women to do the same.
