Today I was listening to my sister’s math video. “To combine,” he said, “you must be the same kind.” This little rhyme was used to help her┬áremember that when you are adding fractions, the denominators must be the same.

Jesus, however, said the same thing about us Christians! Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? (II Corinthians 6: 14).

As Christian girls, we should not even ENTERTAIN the idea of having attractions for a guy who isn’t saved. It would be like a fish marrying a bird. No marriage could ever be complete without the bond of both of your hearts embracing the Savior. True love can only be found in the love of Christ, and without that love in BOTH people, the love is incomplete. Not only would it create tension in the home, but your children would be torn between “Daddy’s way” and “Mommy’s way”.

Don’t throw away your chance for true love.

Don’t destine your children to sin and division.

Don’t go against Jesus’ Word and His wisdom.

“To combine,” said the math teacher, “you must be the same kind!!!!”

Get the word around!
